I met my husband when we were in college.

We were two people in a giant campus that happened to be in the same major.

We came from two totally different places and two totally different backgrounds, yet as soon as I met him, I knew we were two of a kind.

We enjoyed the same activities, liked the same music, and aspired to a similar life. We even, sort of, looked alike.

All of these things have only strengthened in the 25 years that we’ve been together.

This piece makes me think about how my husband and I are two of a kind, and how lucky I am to have him in my life.
